For the past few years we have been delighted to welcome the Maesteg Male Voice Choir for an evening of incredible musical entertainment (see previous news item). This year we were equally pleased to be able to present donations to some of our worthy beneficiaries.

A cheque was presented to a representative of Wiltshire Air Ambulance, an organisation and service that we are dedicated to helping in the constant forage for funds (see picture above).

A cheque was also presented to our local Air Cadet Corp who are a great support to us during some of the events we organise and attend; providing help with marshalling and other duties that we, on our own, would simply not be able to manage.

We were also very pleased to be able to offer a donation to the fund raising efforts for the Melksham Christmas Lights. Many people take the festive decoration of our town for granted; little knowing what is actually entailed in respect of preparation, production and the cost.
