Melksham Lions Club attended the Annual Party in the Park at King George V Playing Fields in Melksham.
A very successful day was had by all those manning the stall,and we would like to thank everybody who visited our stand and supported us on the day.
We managed to raise a handsome £145 from the Lions Tombola, and yes – we did have some winners.
This proceeds from this event will be added to our Charity funds that are put to good use in supporting local causes.
We are very pleased to announce that The Maesteg Choir will be returning to Melksham this year. A different venue this time; Spencers Sports and Social Club will see the choir presenting their excellent performances, and we really hope you will join us there.
The concert is set for Saturday 25th June 2016 at 7pm.

What a great afternoon we had at our children’s Easter party; lots of fun was had along with a few nibbles, and huge thanks to amazing balloon twister Dave Hickory who so kindly gave up his time to help us make the party such a great success.
We were very lucky with the weather too – especially considering the forecast – so were able to get outside for a grand Easter egg hunt. What fun!

What a lovely day at Seend! Perfect weather and a good turn out of lions. Angie’s cakes were very much appreciated and the lion tombola had a steady stream of hopefuls. All takings very gratefully received and added in to the pot for our continued work in the community!
We were very pleased to have a stand at this event and were able to raise a fine sum of £123.50 through our Lions Tombola. There were some very happy faces leaving our stall with cuddly lion prizes, and a few cakes too! We’re looking forward to another grand day out in Seend on August 8th.
