Despite us all being busy, we are able to avoid the hard work occasionally and enjoy ourselves along with our partners.
So below is a list of Social Events for our enjoyment during the coming months.

Dates for some events are still to be confirmed, but most will be on the third Tuesday of the month. Watch this space to check for arrangements which will be posted as sonn as known.

Saturday 6th September
B.B.Q. to be hosted by our President.
POSTPONED - to be re-arranged at a later date

Sunday 16th November
A formal lunch (lounge suits) - venue The Shaw Country Hotel.
We were joined by the Mayor, Richard Wiltshire and his wife Pamela.A good time was had by all.



2008

January

Saturday 10th
A plate meal to be hosted by Val & Simon
Tuesday 20th
A talk, about Silbury Hill, by Lothar Respondek

February 17th
Games and 'easy' quiz evening.Venue to be arranged.

March 17th
A talk by the Melksham Historical Society.

April
A Canal walk with a meal at the Barge Inn, Seend.

May
Evening visit to Wadworths Brewery..

June
Sunday afternoon cruise from Devizes ( approx. 1 hour )

July
Handover.
